Real Estate in North Metn

In 2004, we bought a 220sqm apartment in Metn (Beit Chabeb) for around 130,000 USD which was the highest price for the region at that time, knowing that the average apartment at that time was valued from 70,000 USD and up to 100,000 USD maximum.

Today, that same apartment we bought, and which is now 6 years older, is valued at 300,000 USD, and the price is still rising. This is an increase of 230%. What bank could give that kind of return? What investment can do it?

Truly, real estate in Lebanon is the best investment possible for one if he or she wants to get a good return for his or her money. Since Real Estate Investing in Beirut is becoming more and more difficult with the scarcity of parcels and the high price of apartments, the situation in Metn is booming.

Lebanon Real Estate Land Prices still going up



So far this year (2010), Real Estate Land Prices in Lebanon have grown up steadily. Following the huge increase (around 50% of 2008) and the more modest increase of 2009, the real estate land prices have gone up by 10 to 15% so far in 2010 depending on the region.

Beirut is still on top of the demand, as spots are becoming more and more rare, but spots in the regions are increasing in popularity, as new wed couples are going out of Beirut.

Experts in the field of Real Estate in Lebanon are predicting an additional increase this year both in Beirut and the different Lebanese regions.
